Congratulations Ian Cook!
Ian Cook, managing director of Yachting Developments in Auckland, is the August KiaOraMai Awesome Service Award winner.
He was nominated by Patrick Yeoward for the outstanding service he provided to an international superyacht client.
"The company I represent came to New Zealand to build a 100' sailing yacht. Time was of the essence and Ian Cook and his team rose to the challenge.
At all times throughout the project the aim of Ian and his team was to stand by the obligation they had made to deliver in a set time frame (a major factor in the contract being awarded) and end with a happy client.
They could not have done better as was witnessed when the client took delivery and Ian has continued to support "above and beyond".
He is an excellent example as to why we would strongly recommend New Zealand, him and his company to overseas interests even in the face of the not so competitive dollar."
