Congratulations Raewyn Elsmore!
"It's all about the bottom line" is the catch cry for many businesses.
However successful businesses balance the need to make money with a true commitment to customer service.
While it might not always produce a sale, it generates goodwill and word of mouth advertising that money can't buy.
This was the case when Sue Anderson called Callander Electrics.
"On a Thursday night, my 97 year old mother rang to tell me most of the lights in her home had gone off, and would I ring an electrician for her the next morning. First thing Friday morning, I contacted Callander Electrical Services to see if they could help that day. Raewyn said they were all booked up for the day, but after I explained the situation of my mother being on her own and somewhat disabled, she said she would see what she could do and ring me back. This she did in a few minutes, and an electrician went to my mother's address by 9.30am that morning. He checked everything thoroughly for her and the lights were restored! The following week I received their invoice - NO CHARGE!! I think this is exceptional service from a company who went out of their way to assist an elderly person in need, and I feel they are most deserving of some recognition for this.
A business that will go the extra mile to assist in such a situation as my mother was in, needs an extra special 'Thank You!!' "
Congratulations to Raewyn Elsmore of Callander Electrics: A worthy winner of a KiaOraMai Awesome Service Award
