Katie Goodwin from Kodak Express in Paraparaumu was nominated for the care and thoughtfulness she showed a customer.
Lyn Allday explains:
"I was having trouble with my digital camera and couldn't retrieve photos off the memory stick. I went in to see if they had any suggestions and immediately Katie swung into action. She tried several different options to get my photos for me, and was eventually successful. She transferred them all for me which took quite some time as there were a lot of photos. When she knew there were two that I was particularly keen not to lose, she offered to email them to me, just in case of mishap. She also showed me what to do with the memory card to get rid of any problems. I truly appreciated her service and her technical expertise which she was so willing to share. Having worked in retail myself for a number of years, I can appreciate both sides of the counter and when someone is so pleasant and willing to help, I feel it needs to be recognised."
