Congratulations Peter and Michelle Venner!
Peter and Michelle Venner were nominated for a KiaOraMai Awesome Service Award for the help they gave a customer who was looking for a vehicle for her disabled daughter.
With no obligation to buy, Peter and Michelle drove from Waikane to Waihi with a vehicle ( a trip of more than 500 kilometres ) - and took the stress out of what was becoming a difficult search.
Customer Gail Edgecombe explains:
"My daughter Holly had been given a grant for a vehicle with adaptations by the NZ Lotteries Board. It had to be approved by a local Occupational Therapist and we had been looking around in Auckland, Waikato and Tauranga to find one which came within the amount of the grant. Most vehicles with the type of adaptations we needed were well over our budget and the two we found were not approved by the OT. It was becoming very stressful. We found a van advertised by Peter Venner Motors on Trade Me. A call to Peter confirmed the price and the van sounded suitable. He arranged for the AA check and anything else we needed, including offering to buy our old Nissan S-Cargo which they would use to get back home. At no obligation for us to buy, especially knowing the OT had to give her approval as well as us, Peter and Michelle brought this vehicle all the way from Waikanae to Waihi for us to look over. When we got the approval from the OT and decided to buy it, they bought our 1987 Nissan S-Cargo at the agreed price and drove it home. At no time did Peter or Michelle put us under any pressure to buy their van. They were quite prepared to take it home. In light of the lack of service we got from other dealers much closer to home we think this service was quite remarkable and would like to see this couple recognised for their wonderful service"
Congratulations Peter and Michelle Venner: Peter Venner Motors, Waikanae - worthy winners of a KiaOraMai Awesome Service Award!
