This week's nomination highlights the importance of business to business service - and the difference reliable and customer focused companies can make.
Keith Robertson started printing company, Eastside Printers recently and says one of his suppliers, Chris Dixon of DIC Ink Group stands out from the rest by consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
"Our company, Eastside Printers, is a 'start up' print company and commenced trading July 2009. As such the company relies heavily on a 'just in time' policy for the acquisition of print consumables - paper, ink and other press chemistry. Without exception our suppliers have provided wonderful support and we are grateful to all of them. Chris however, always provides awesome service. He visits us frequently to ensure we have the products we need and, with every visit, engenders great enthusiasm with all our staff because he is such a positive, enthusiastic guy. We often make what to others would be unrealistic demands but Chris never fails to rise to the challenge. And he does so cheerfully, willingly and enthusiastically. I am prompted to nominate Chris because such a demand arose again recently - a very valuable client required an extremely urgent job using a specially mixed ink. A reasonable request would have been to have this special ink delivered the next morning and it is fair to say that all of our suppliers would have achieved this - Chris 'made it happen' within 2 hours - awesome! He is a great communicator - we are never left wondering about when, what or how - and he is a credit to his employers. I would love to see his attitude acknowledged and rewarded through this nomination."
