Customer Patsy Hall was left smiling thanks to the great service she received from sales assistant Nicky Verdon:
"Time running out, no time to shop, very important friend's birthday less than a week away. After seeing an ad in a magazine I looked on the "Pylones" website, and found that they accommodate people like me (too chicken to put credit card details on line) by providing a customer services number. That was the first huge plus. I rang and spoke to Nicky. When placing my order, I explained that the billing address and the delivery address would be different and just as a passing aside said the item was for a friend's birthday. She took my order, explained postal charges and thanked me for my business. The whole transaction on the phone was like talking to someone that you know. Three days later I received a letter with a personalised address label in calligraphy. Inside was a copy of the receipt, and a beautiful hand written note - saying that the item had been gift wrapped as a birthday present (wow!) and sent, and I was advised of the delivery date. I didn't buy a big ticket item so am still blown away by the level of service provided, the time and trouble taken even for the smallest of customers. That's service!"
