Congratulations Grant Amos!
Thirty years of helping New Zealanders overcome a fear of flying has won Auckland psychologist Grant Amos a KiaOraMai Awesome Service Award.
He was nominated by Sandra Lawrence who says Grant and his Flying Without Fear course changed her life:
"I attended one of Grant's courses in 1998 as I was terrified of flying. Grant keeps us in touch with newsletters every three months and Sue will organise any particular seating arrangements if required to make our journey stress free. As a "graduate" Grant will see us anytime we need a refresher. This course was life changing for me and if you had seen me fly out through the mountains of Queenstown last month you would never have known that I was once a terrified flyer. Our family had given my husband and I a "Mystery Break "and I was able to arrange it without hesitation. Before the course I would have refused to go! Grant's newsletters inform us about the facts on flying and continually re-inforce the skills he taught us on the course. I am sure the hours that they both put in for the people who have attended a course must be immense and I would love them to have some recognition."
Congratulations to Grant Amos of Flying Without Fear: A worthy winner of a KiaOraMai Awesome Service Award!
