Nick James of Custom Awnings is the August winner of an Auckland Awesome Service Award.
Nick was nominated by happy customer EllisMcGregor:
"I was in the market for a quick to erect shade awning to supplement the full awning supplied with our recently purchased English imported caravan.
I located Custom Awnings Ltd on the internet and made contact as I wanted to view the product before committing to purchase. I was prepared to travel to Maraetai to view. Nick was quick to offer to bring the product to me to view which he did at the agreed time the following day.
The product more than meet my expectations and was of higher spec than advertised. It came complete with all poles pegs and guy ropes.
On accepting the product Nick Left the item with me. He later emailed me an invoice which I was more than happy to pay immediately.
I then discovered that there was one guy rope missing. (5 supplied instead of 6). I emailed him advising the shortage. He responded saying that he will drop off the missing item in the next day or so.
This guy went the extra mile to make the purchase so hassle free. I would recommend his service and product to all."
