Congratulations Lee Jones!
Lee Jones from Cavalier Bremworth is the July winner of an Auckland Awesome Service Award.
Lee was nominated by happy customer Philippa Baker:
“We had our house re-carpeted before Christmas after our daughter and I spilt blue ink all over the lounge room's creamy pink carpet. The new carpet make the house look fresh and new again. I was so happy.
Then earlier this month our son (only 4) was playing on the carpet and caught a toy in the carpet, pulled a thread sticking out of the carpet right in the middle of the front room, leaving a bald patch.
After been given the run around by the installation company, I phoned Cavalier Bremworth as a last resort to get information on someone to repair the carpet.
Lee Jones answered the phone after I called the 0800 phone number. She explained that the carpet thread should not have been left sticking out for him to pull, however as the damage was done by our son it would not be covered under the guarantee on the carpet.
Without hesitation she said, These things happen with kids and that as the original thread should not have been left. Cavalier Bremworth would cover the cost of the repair as the carpet was only a few months old. She said she would arrange someone to call me within a few days to arrange a time to repair it.
Lee when over and above to sort out a repair person. She phone back a few minutes later asking for batch numbers of our carpet and other details need to get the repair sorted.
The following week a lady arrived to repair the carpet. She arrived on time and repaired the carpet (free of charge) within 30 mins. The carpet was repaired so well that even when she showed me the repair was I could not see it.
